Dramatic Black and White

This week is dramatic black and white pictures over at I Heart Faces. This is a senior picture I took out in west Texas. I love the simplicity of the black and white, balanced with the drama of the boulder on the side of the mountain (yes there are mountains in west Texas). This was such a fun picture that I think really captures the dare-devilness of this graduate, which is dramatic in and of itself!

Head on over to I Heart Faces by clicking the box below for an extra dose of drama this week! Enjoy!

Focusing on Angles

This weeks contest on I Heart Faces is focusing on angles. I thought this was particularly appropriate as the water in the pond looks like it is going to run right out of the picture! Click on the logo for I Heart Faces to go see some great pictures!

i heart faces photography contest

esnow

I am entering a photo contest over at I Heart Faces! We don’t get much snow here in Texas and this is my 16 month old daughter who WAS NOT A FAN!!!! She was cold and wet, and her mean mommy (that’s me!) kept making her stop for pictures! But, seeing as how I went from being a Houston girl, to college in Nebraska, I can definitely relate to this moment! I hope you all are staying warm!

I just wanted to share a moment in time.  My son, Grey, was loving every minute of the rodeo.  There is just something about ragged jeans, boots, and a kid hanging on an arena corral.
